Our Family

The brothers Paolo, Vito and Daniele Simonaro represent the third generation of a family that has always been involved in the production of extra virgin olive oil in the Agrigento hinterland of the wonderful Sicily; land of sun, sea and biodiversity.

Passion

The company of Simonaro family guarantee quality and traceability of its green gold: it deals with the care, research in the fields, direct cultivation of its olive groves, browsing and processing up to bottling.

Checks

Checks on the conformity of the product with the specification are carried out by a control structure in accordance with Article 10 and 11 of Reg. EEC No 510/06.

Production process

Each stage of the production process is monitored in order to ensure compliance with the rules contained in the specific specification. In this way and through the inclusion in special lists, managed by the inspection body, of the cadastral parcels on which the cultivation takes place, of producers and packers, so as to ensure the traceability of the product. All holdings included in these lists shall be subject to checks in accordance with the product specification and the relevant control plan. The same discipline is suitable for the internal processing standards of the conventional product.

Production chain

Closing the production chain, to reach the final customer without intermediaries and offer the freshest, genuine and exclusive product. All the different aspects of business life are carefully followed by the owners Alfonso, Paolo, Vito and Daniele that is father and sons.
